Testing Elementor Flexbox Again
Elementor introduced Flexbox in version 3.6 in late 2021 but by March of 2022 it presented a lot of bugs for users. Given that Flexbox as seen in the first YouTube tutorial is designed to provide advanced layout features while delivering faster UI response time- it is viewed a s vital update to the Elementor UI.The second tutorial from WPSquadron shows some of the bugs and issues Elementor advocates were experiencing. This review is designed to show whether Elementor 3.8 – 3.9 has cleared up the bulk of Flexbox problems.
What We Learned About Using Elementor FlexBox
These tests provided solid evidence that many but not all of the FlexBox errors plaguing Elementor have been cleared up.
Three persistent problems remain:
1)Conversion of templates from sections to containers can be hit or miss – particularly older Elementor, 3rd party, and my templates. In general, Elementor Header templates are not well behaved;
2)Motion Effects, Scrolling and Border/Box Shadow stylings when copy/pasted can lead to “surprise” results;
3)Plugin conflicts even with the latest versions of Elementor and the 3rd party plugins lead to some of the most difficult problems to debug as you have to deactivate plugins to find the offending party. Surprise – Elementor addons are often villains.
